DAISY è un personaggio nato nel 2020. Fa parte de “Le Moschine”, una serie di dipinti a colori acrilici e pastelli su tela e legno, ispirati ai cartoon americani degli anni venti e trenta del ‘900 e alla pittura lowbrow e pop surrealista.
L’ho dipinta dipinta diverse volte, è un soggetto che mi piace molto.
É un personaggio enigmatico, probabilmente ricco di metafore e simbolismi, ma lei non ama parlarne e io non oso chiedere. Si presenta così, sorridente, in marcia con la sua ascia e un teschio sottobraccio.
Non sembra aggressiva, anzi sembra socievole. Forse il teschio è solo un vecchio ricordo, e l’ascia uno strumento di lavoro. In ogni caso, io non la farei arrabbiare. Il giardiniere è sparito da un po’ e non c’è modo di trovarlo…
